Cannot delete old printer presets

Trying to delete some old printer presets. But the delete and duplicate buttons are grayed out. Any ideas how to do this?

You should try resetting your printing system. This will delete all old presets and all current and older printers from your system. You must then add back your existing printers, and can make new presets without having to wade through an outdated list.

Go to your System Preferences > Printers& Scanners, then control click on the list of printers at left. This brings up a popup, and select Reset Printing System...

As I said this will delete any printers in your list, along with all presets.
